Magellan Development Group has formed a partnership with Titan Commercial, a real estate brokerage firm specializing in the acquisition, leasing and disposition of commercial properties.
The arrangement was announced jointly by Magellan President David Carlins and Titan Principal Ben Rosenfield. Titan, considered a full-service brokerage firm, has been active in representing both tenants and landlords, principally in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan and will continue to represent both sellers and purchasers in investment property nationwide.
“We at Titan believe in the benefit gained by understanding the intricacies of negotiating different product types, whether it be for the end user or investor of office, industrial, multifamily, or retail. Our familiarity with the needs and goals of both parties to a transaction benefit mutually,” explained Rosenfield, who was a broker with Millennium Properties R/E Inc. prior to forming Titan Commercial.
Other members of the Titan staff include Lori Catrinza, formerly with Cushman & Wakefield and Jared Fisher, formerly with Matanky Realty Group.
Rosenfield is a recent winner of the Commercial Forum Award, a division of the Chicago Assn. of Realtors, for gross sales and transactions and a graduate of the University of Arizona in Retailing and Consumer Studies

Magellan is best known for its $4 billion Lakeshore East development, which currently include three completed and occupied buildings; the 29-story The Lancaster, the community’s first condominium building with 209 homes, The Shoreham, a 46-story apartment tower with 548 residences and The Regatta, a 44-story condominium building with 325 residences.
Under construction are 340 on the Park, a 62-story condominium tower; The Chandler, a 35-story condominium building; and the 51-story The Tides, the second rental property in the complex with 607 luxury units.
Pre-construction sales are under way for the 81-story Aqua, a Jeanne Gang design
that will be the first high-rise in the city designed uniquely to combine condominiums, rental apartments, hotel and retail spaces. The first phase of The Parkhomes of Lakeshore East, an enclave of 24 gracious townhomes, has been brought to market.
